A solution to a solution-problem

A solution in an equation like y=-5x+10 means an x an a y that make the whole equation true. A solution in a graph of that same equation looks like two points that intersect each other. A system of equations are a set of equations that have many variables. A solution to a system of two equations means the x and y and the slope of a line. Not the points. A solution in a graph of a systems of two equations looks like two lines that intercept each other.
